Phd Cadidate in Gender and Sociology

I conduct a research on "Female Rural - Urban Migration to Factory Work and STI/HIV Vulnerability in Lao PDR". Based in Vientiane and Savannakhet, my investigation questions the changing perceptions and practices induced by labour migration on women' sexual and reproductive health. The objective is to provide a better understanding of how rural – urban migration to factory work patterns women's sexualities, with a particular attention on HIV/STI vulnerability.
