The film has been produced by the technical support of Sevent Orients, a broadcast studio established in Laos and France. It is a 20 minutes available in French, English and Lao. It retraces the research project experience by paying particular attention to the specific conditions of knowledge mobility across social and cultural boundaries and to the encounters between development and scientific research domains. It shows how IRD partners have been involved in the research process and what were the obstacles and benefits of this research approach.

IRD worked in collaboration with the film maker Peter Livermore director of the film company SevenOrients who shoot the project partners during interviews and some scenes related to the survey. The interviews were prepared and conducted by IRD. These interviews mainly focus on the purpose of the research and the way partners have been involved. Also it integrate some videos done by Seven Orients during the World AIDS Day at the French Institute of Laos on 6th December 2017.
